Every print we sell starts as the same archival matte paper and pigment inks. What changes is how it meets the wall. Here's what each finish actually looks like, what it costs, and how to keep it looking new.

Natural wood
Warm grain, matte seal

On mats: our frames are fitted direct-to-print without a mat board. The composition runs edge to edge — the same way the artist finished the file. If you love a matted look, order the unframed print and a local frame shop can mat it to taste.

Archival materials do the heavy lifting. These four habits do the rest.
Keep it out of direct sun
Pigment inks are rated for decades indoors, but a south-facing windowsill will age anything. Give the piece indirect light and it will outlast the sofa under it.
Dust with a dry cloth
A soft, dry microfiber cloth is all a frame or canvas needs. Skip glass cleaner on the frame front and never use water or sprays on the paper or canvas surface.
Let a rolled print relax
A print that shipped in a tube wants a night flat under a few books before framing. Unroll it image-side up, weight the corners gently, and give it 12–24 hours.
Mind the humidity
Bathrooms and damp basements are hard on paper. If a room steams up daily, choose canvas there and keep the paper prints in drier rooms.
