Giving a phone case as a gift: how to get the model right
A phone case is a gift people use hundreds of times a day. It is also the easiest gift to get wrong, because a case for the wrong model does not fit at all. Here is how to get it right.
Step one: find their exact model
Phone models look alike, and the differences matter: an iPhone 16 case will not fit an iPhone 16 Pro, and a Galaxy S26 case will not fit an S26 Ultra. Camera bumps and button positions change between models even when the phones look the same size.
The easiest way to find out without spoiling the surprise is to ask casually, or to look at their phone yourself. On an iPhone, the model name is in Settings, then General, then About. On a Samsung Galaxy, it is in Settings, then About phone. You can also ask someone who lives with them.
We make cases for current iPhone models (the 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 families) and the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra. The full list is in the model menu on every case page.
Step two: choose a design that matches them
Our case archive holds thousands of original designs grouped into collections: nature and landscape, ocean and coastal, celestial, floral and botanical, cute animals, abstract and geometric, retro, and seasonal and spooky ranges. Every one is original artwork, not a licensed character.
Think about what they already like. The person who hikes might like a mountain landscape; the friend with a cat might like a cute animal design; the one who loves a bit of retro might like a vintage diner or roller skate case. If they already own one of our studio pieces, look for a case in the same mood.
Step three: know what they are getting
Every case is a dual-layer tough case, printed edge to edge with the design and made to order for the chosen model. Cases are $24.99 with free US shipping, and they ship within 48 business hours.
